SENDCO Calendar Activities For The Month
December
- Review the impact of this term’s additional interventions and update the Provision Map in light of this in readiness for the coming Spring term.
- Ensure end of term tracking identifies progress of pupils with SEND. This should be interrogated to identify strengths in provision and areas that need to be improved.
- Produce case studies on a sample of pupils with SEND identifying the difference additional action undertaken by the school has made to pupils and their families.
- Report to Governors on the impact of action taken so far this academic year to support the success of pupils with SEND.
- SEND pupil planning and work scrutiny. Explore if scaffolds are appropriately matched to need.
- Complete end of term review of steps towards meeting SEND action plan targets and update.
- Hold a SEND parent/caregiver coffee morning.
